Hey Todd

I was just at Flag Raiders and did some test with my gun on the chronograph. I'm new to paintball and all that goes with it but this is the info I seemed to have picked up(please correct me if I am wrong)

1. I didnt open the valve on the remote coil which the bottle attaches too all the way, I stop turning it as soon as I heard and felt the hose pressurize. I was shooting 300 fps no problem.
2. I only have a 12 oz Co2 tank and everytime I disconnect the hose from my gun I have to release the pressure right, This wouldnt seem like a big deal but I didnt realize how much pressure the hose itself holds because i turned the bottle off and could still shoot quiet a few rounds with the remaining hose pressure. The point I am getting at is that every time I use the quick release I loose alot of pressure and with a 12 oz tank it doesnt take long in between shooting and quick release to run my tank out. I borrowed an HPA tank when I was there and the difference was noticible so I think that would be my next upgrade.
3. I was having trouble with consistency on both Co2 and HPA of about 20 fps sometimes more, Thanks a ton for your time and any advice/input would be great.

Regards Brad

Were you inside or outside?

It is most likely the bore of your paint, depending on paint to barrel size you will get fluxuations 20 fps is not terrible at all. Various things can effect your paint size, temperature, age (not yours), humidity, brand serveral factors can create very subtle differences in your paint thus effecting paint to barrel match.

We could also check the output pressure of your HPA reg if it islow we may be able to boost it with some shims.

I hope that helps.
