Yes rivets will addorn the landing craft, "this will be Britain and Gridds finest hour" if you listen to his speak online you can hear him actually say Gridd.

They are allowed,
but signing up ahead of time is both cheaper,

and helps out the staff get the right estimate of people, to supply the correct number of Food/paint/ref's etc...

Also if anyone needs to rent equipment, definitely sign up ahead of time. (and reserve it)
Rental equipment with this many people will be hard to get a hold of.
